How to use this tool
Select a representative section of the block you plan to harvest tomorrow.
Choose the number of plants you want to sample (for example, 10) and enter that number in "# of Plants Counted".
Count all the fruit on those plants that would be harvested tomorrow (generally fruit that is 90%+ red) and enter the total number of fruit from the entire sample into "Total Fruit Harvested".
Enter the number of plants per acre for the block you will be harvesting.
Estimate how many berries fit into a 1 pound plastic clamshell based on current fruit size, and enter that number in "Clamshell Count".
For this calculation, one crate = 9 pounds of strawberries.
